I have been fortunate in that I have been able to spend a great deal of time outside the US, visiting over thirty countries as well as living in the UK for two years, and spending a year in Brussels and Paris. Almost all of this was for business purposes.
I don’t travel very much these days, and indeed don’t even really enjoy it anymore. But it remains an exceptionally broadening experience for a young man, especially a young American, and I am ever thankful for the opportunities I had in the past (or even today, if I could be bothered).
The following are some of my impressions of places I have visited.
