Yes, Canada is a sovereign country. They have their own stamps and money and everything. Americans like to joke about Canada, and a lot of Canadians are pretty touchy about it, but this is really one of the nicest countries in the world. Canadians are, generally (except, of course, for all the Nazis), really pleasant and polite. Visiting Canada is like visiting a country as wealthy and comfortable as the USA, but without all the assholes. On the other hand, Canadians are rabidly afraid of being mistaken for Americans when traveling overseas, which is why they always have maple leaf patches on their clothes and luggage, maple leaf tattoos, etc. If overseas Americans were as infatuated with the Stars and Stripes, it would make people talk. Really, I think Canadians should lighten up a little.
Canada Plus: Toronto. Pretty hard to believe this is really a North American city.
Canada Minus: Canadian Customs, where the local Nazis all seem to work.
